Distance from Werribee: 52 km
This walk begins and finishes at the Steiglitz Court House carpark. There are toilets here.
Bring water, sunscreen, hat, morning tea, lunch, sturdy walking shoes or boots, first aid kit. Walking poles could be useful.
First half of walk is along well defined track. After this we will be off track following Sutherland Creek. This section will involve bush bashing, rock hopping and creek crossings (good chance of getting your feet wet).
After lunch we will join up with the Burchell Trail which is rocky at first, then becoming a well defined track which will take us back to the cars.
Although not long in distance, the hardest part of this walk is following Sutherland Creek which will be slow going.
