It’s about an 80 km drive to the St Leonards Tennis Club, taking about 75 minutes.
There are toilets at this reserve so we will regroup here for morning tea and toilet stop before travelling on to Edwards Point Reserve.
Bring water, morning tea, lunch, hat, sunscreen, wet weather gear, INSECT REPELLANT and a first aid kit.
Travel to Geelong then to Drysdale via C123, then to St Leonards Tennis Club via C125, turn right at the end onto Bluff Rd. 38°10’24.7″S 144°43’06.4″E
After morning tea, we continue to Edwards Point Wildlife Reserve by continuing along Bluff Road turn left onto Cliff St, (which has a few bends in it) and left onto Beach Road to the carpark near the beginning of the walk.
As this is an exposed area be prepared for a variety of possible weather conditions.
This circuit walk has a variety of birds, and beautiful coastal views.
The first leg of the track is flat and compacted, some of which is single file, to the Two Bays Lookout where we could have lunch.
From the Two Bays Lookout we will decide on extending the walk a further 2 km circuit down the peninsula which will be beach walking.
The return from the Two Bays Lookout to the carpark will be via the beach (tide permitting).
