This will be a casual easy walk, no pressure. Please dress for the weather and byo food and drink or there will be opportunities to buy along the way. The walk includes lovely parklands and Coburg Lake.
We will be catching the train to North Melbourne and then a 2nd train to Coburg. Walk along Sydney Road to Pentridge Prison. This has now been turned into a shopping centre and apartment living. There is still a section of this notorious Prison where guided tours are held. These 1.5 hours and cost $57.00 if anyone is interested.
After a morning tea stop we will walk down to Merri Creek where the walk continues around the lake with crossovers at certain intervals. There are couple of small ups and downs.
