Distance from Werribee: 40km. We will take the train from Werribee Station to Broadmeadows Station, returning from Pascoe Vale Station to Werribee at the conclusion of the walk.
Bring 2L water, sunscreen, morning tea, lunch, snacks, myki card and a first aid kit. The track is very exposed on some stretches so wear suitable clothing, sunhat/beanie and walking shoes or boots. Bring a wet weather jacket just in case.
Track conditions: urban footpaths, steps, grass areas.
This part of the walk along Moonee Ponds Creek trail follows the creek from its confluence with Yuroke Creek, through parklands and wetlands to Gaffney St, Pascoe Vale.
The walk starts from Broadmeadows Station, going to Johnstone St Reserve to join the Moonee Ponds Creek trail to Pascoe Vale.
The walk is approx. 10-11 kms, mostly flat with some steps and slight inclines.
We will have morning tea at Johnstone Reserve and lunch at Esslemont Reserve, before returning to Werribee on the train from Pascoe Vale station
