We will carpool from Werribee to Newport Lakes Park. Park entrance is from Mason Street Newport. There are toilets in the park.
The trail is a solid earthen track.
You will need to bring a hat, raincoat, hike boots or suitable walking shoes, lunch, snacks, water and sunscreen.
The walk starts from the carpark. There are a number of short walks in the park. We will link these together to cover a large area of the park, this will take us around a few lakes and through some open park land.
There is a large shelter with some seating were we can have lunch after the walk.
