Driving distance from Werribee, one hour – Proceed to 2nd car park along Info Rd, Wallington – 38°14’32.6″S 144°31’54.0″E
Bring water, sunscreen, hat, morning tea, lunch, sturdy walking shoes or boots, insect repellent (lots of mozzies on preview day), first aid kit and something to sit on.
This is an easy flat track on an earthen and grassy surface. It may be soggy in places.
Plenty of wildlife and birds were seen on the preview walk, among gum trees and grass trees. The walk starts and finishes at the car park which has an information centre, toilets and picnic tables.
We will start on the north track, then onto the west, then south track before heading into the centre. After the walk, for those who wish, we can stop in at the Fork ‘n’ Flower for a coffee on the way home. Booking is recommended so let me know by Friday if you are interested in going to the café
