Distance: 3.5 kms return or possible circuit.
Meet: 9.00 am for 9.15 am departure from the carpark opposite Hungry Jacks Werribee.

This is not a long walk and is designed to be a leisurely, social outing.
We will depart the car park and drive 70kms (1 hr 15) to Blackwood Mineral Springs Reserve where we will have morning tea. Seating and toilet facilities available. The track has uneven steps at the start, with a gravel track which is a bit rough in places due to recent storms but still accessible. Moderate hills but nothing steep.
This is an open track with no shade so bring hat, sunscreen, water and good walking shoes. BYO morning tea and lunch.
We will commence the walk over a bridge and stop at the mineral spring where you can sample the spring water before turning left to take the short easy walk on the “Lookout and Lake via Moonlight Gully” trail. On preview day with my grandkids we did the return walk after reaching the lookout but there is an option here to take the circuit walk back to starting point (not previewed).
After the walk we will have lunch at the reserve car park before heading back to Werribee.
