Distance from Werribee: 58km The walk begins and ends at the The Crossing Picnic Ground about 2kms past the township of Steiglitz.
There are no toilets at the start of the walk but a stop can be made as we pass through the town of Steiglitz. There will also be toilets at 2 of the picnic areas that the walk passes through.
Track conditions: vary from well formed trails to rough, narrow, rocky tracks that climb in and out of the gullies.There are many ascents and descents with a few flat sections
Bring water, sunscreen, hat, morning tea, lunch, sturdy walking shoes or boots, first aid kit, raincoat.
The walk takes us through rolling hills and gullies, passing by relics from the gold mining days.
