We will carpool from Werribee to Tipperary Springs picnic area, located 5 minutes from Daylesford. There is a drop toilet at the picnic ground, or we can stop in Daylesford to use the preferred flushing toilets. The track is a solid earthen track with some rocks and loose stone.
You will need to bring a hat, raincoat, hike boots or suitable walking shoes (no sandals or thongs), lunch, snacks, water and walking poles if you have them.
The walk starts from Tipperary Springs picnic area and follows Sailors Creek. The trail crosses the creek at Bryce’s Flat, where there are large stepping stones. When previewed the water level was low, but this may not be the case on the walk.
From here to the Blowhole there are a few small hills an at the Blowhole there is a small loop walk (Spur loop walk). On the return walk from Bryce’s flat to the carpark we will be walking on the opposite side of the creek. Similar track conditions, but with more small hills.
