Williamstown to Seaholme Coastal Trail

We will depart from Werribee train station on the 8:25am train to Newport, changing at Newport for the Williamstown train. We will arrive at Williamstown at 9:15am (pending any timetable changes). Alternative arrangements will be advised if the train timetable changes due to works etc.

Bring 2L water, sunscreen, beanie, morning tea, lunch, drinks, snacks, warm clothing and jacket, rainwear and sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots.

Track conditions: pebbly track & paved walking track. Note: this walk is along exposed tracks with little shelter from sun, wind and rain. (This is an easy walk but graded 3 due to distance Ed). Toilet facilities are at various points along the walk and at Cresser Reserve.

We will walk from Williamstown station to Point Gellibrand coastal park, then onto the foreshore along Battery Road and Hobsons Bay coastal trail to Williamstown Beach.

We will stop for morning tea at The Kiosk where walkers can buy hot drinks etc if they choose or BYO.

From here, we continue along the foreshore to Jawbone Reserve, where we can enjoy the bird life, pass Kororoit Creek Historic Fishing Village and onto Altona Coastal Park. We will have lunch at Cresser Reserve, then catch the train from Seaholme station back to Werribee.
