Distance from Werribee: 75km. The drive from Werribee to Ironbark Basin Reserve, Point Addis takes 1hr.
Bring 2L water, morning tea, lunch, snacks and a first aid kit. The track is very exposed on some stretches so wear suitable clothing, sunhat/beanie and hiking boots. Bring a wet weather jacket just in case.
The track is sandy/muddy and can be slippery in parts. Moderate to steep hills and steps. The only toilets on the track are at Godokut (Point Addis).
This walk starts at Ironbark Basin Reserve, going downhill through Yirripa (Ironbark) and stringybark woodland. It continues through grass trees, coastal trees and shrubs with stunning views of the surf coast.
We will walk down to Point Addis beach before climbing up to Godokut car park. Here we will stop to take in the views returning along the same track to enjoy the different aspects of the coast and bush.
