We will be carpooling from Werribee to the Visitors Centre carpark. Entrance to the You Yangs is off Branch Road. GPS Coordinates: 37°57’46.9″S 144°24’35.9″E
There are toilets at the start of the walk. All the tracks are of a hard earthen surface, with some steps, and stepping around rocks in some areas.
You will need to bring a hat, rain coat, hiking boots or suitable walking shoes (no sandals or thongs), water, lunch, snacks and walking poles if you have them.
The walk starts from the Visitors Centre carpark, we proceed up to the Turn Table carpark, via Big Rock. A lot of this section of the walk is uphill, but not steep.
From here we walk on the eastern side of the East/West track to the Saddle. There are some steps and rocks on this track.
From the Saddle we descend to the Branding Yard trail, which loops around, and up (not a big hill climb) to the Turn Table carpark, and returning to the Visitors Centre carpark, via Big Rock.
